— My story

A Certified & Accredited Mediator and Trainer.

Welcome!
I’m Aejaz Karim, an accredited mediator, trainer, and development practitioner with a strong foundation in conflict resolution and community development. I hold a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence from Brandeis University, Waltham, MA, USA, and a Master’s in Sociology from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan.

I have completed a specialized mediator course from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), a renowned UK-based mediation institute, and am also trained as a certified trainer in mediation. These qualifications, combined with my practical experience, allow me to effectively facilitate dialogue, resolve conflicts, and train others in the art of mediation.

Currently, I am part of the Aga Khan Development Network, where I contribute to fostering sustainable development and enhancing community well-being. Additionally, I have been an active member of the Shia Imami Ismaili Conciliation and Arbitration Board (CAB) in Gilgit for over six years, working to resolve disputes and promote harmony within the community.

I am deeply committed to building bridges, fostering understanding, and empowering individuals and communities to navigate conflicts constructively and thrive through coexistence and collaboration.
